Songs featured in national tour of new Kevin Fegan play

Sarah is thrilled and honoured to be able to report that award-winning playwright and poet Kevin Fegan has not only decided to feature five songs from her 2012 album The Plum Tree And The Rose – including “Hardwick’s Lofty Towers”, her song about Bess of Hardwick – as pre-show music for his new play Bess the Commoner Queen during its forthcoming national tour, but also very kindly offered to have the album available for sale at the venues alongside his published script. Besides “Hardwick’s Lofty Towers”, other songs from the album featured in the pre-show playlist include “In Derby Cathedral”, “Kenilworth”, “Can She Excuse My Wrongs?” and “The Plum Tree and the Rose”. See http://www.kevinfegan.co.uk/bess-the-commoner-queen for the full list of tour dates, starting Saturday 2 March at the Buxton Opera House Pavilion Arts Centre.
